The System for Extending the period of Registration

Some Graduate Schools establish the System for Extending the Period of Registration. This system approves the students who have special circumstances ―― such as working, having a baby, bringing up children and caring for family ―― to complete their curricula systematically, exceeding original duration of study (M2, D3). 

The laboratory I belongs to has many adult graduate students, so I’ve known the system before. However, I came to realize that someone might not know this. Then, I list the Graduate Schools that are confirmed they have the system as of September 15th, 2016. 

Please feel to contact the registrar of Graduate School you belong to regarding any further details. Even if the Graduate School you belong to doesn’t have the System for Extending the Period of Registration, it might possibly be better systems, so please ask the registrar.
